The Life Time Responsibility of Brotherhood Campaign was created to improve our Fraternity’s alumni communications and the involvement of our Alumni with the Fraternity and the current Actives. As a brother of Sigma Phi Epsilon we have all taken on a lifelong commitment to ourselves, and to our brotherhood. Building upon our values, traditions and stories, the eternal bonds of brotherhood will ensure the successful future of our chapter. As a year-round campaign dedicated to Alumni communications, including the Pasty and reunions, this campaign was organized under VP of Communications.
Even though we take great pride in our Chapter house, the old side of the house (prior to the 1999 addition) is beginning to show its age. We wish to improve it making our house the role model for our Greek community. A list of repairs and improvements totaling $190,000 are linked below. This is not another 1999 addition – we are just trying to improve and maintain the old part of our house, with a few minor improvements to the mini-mub and kitchen. We are looking toward the support of our Alumni, as us Actives are unable to fund this task. Our member bills are ever increasing, which as a result, is forcing members to drop out, and preventing other from joining. But our future plans do not stop at our house.
After our house list has been completed, we wish to direct your contributions to our house mortgage, which still has over $178,000 from the 1999 addition. This will aid in significantly lowering our member bills. In addition, we wish for our Alumni to sponsor a Sigma class, eliminating the financial barrier, preventing outstanding men from joining our brotherhood.
This is not a one time fundraiser, but an ever commit and investment in YOUR brotherhood, which has made you the man you are today. To honor and commemorate our Alumni, The Ducal Crown, The Star of Hope and The Cross of Brotherly Love Awards have been created.
